Thermador oven inner glass panel cracked Michael P. • Kenilworth , IL • September 28, 2015
Removing the oven door, carefully taking it apart to remove the broken panel, cleaning everything, putting in the new glass panel and reassambling took me about an hour. To get to the glass panel takes unscrewing about 20 screws. Not too difficult to do. Assembly is easier than disassembly.

I replaced the temperature probe and the control board. You have to remove the oven from the wall to access the rear panels...then remove the probe mounting screws from inside the oven and pull the wire through the inside of the oven.

Broil element had gone bad due to age and use Sherwood O. • Orange , CA • August 22, 2015
This turned out to be a very complicated repair ONLY because the wires that attached to the very far end of the broil element came detached inside and behind the wall of the oven. It is one step this side of impossible to fish the wires out and reconnect them to the new element.
This would be a very easy job PROVIDED that you do not allow the two wires that connect to the element to become detached inside the rear oven wall.

F64 error code thermador double wall oven m# c272bw/01 Kevin H. • Casper , WY • December 23, 2014
The code denotes a bad blower or air switch sensor. On this oven however, the air switch is actually a HALL Sensor and is part of the lower oven cooling fan assembly. Older ovens have a separate air switch. We removed the oven, replaced the blower assembly and the unit is good as new!!! Customer is Happy!!

Cooling fan on my thermador oven was very noisy Jon K. • Crooks , SD • March 23, 2015
I replaced it! I called two local appliance repair places. One said they could NOT get parts. The other one said it would cost approx. $500 to repair with the symptoms I described, maybe more if there were other problems.
After a very easy order to place ($120) and very quick delivery. I pulled the built in oven out of the cabinet, opened the top and replaced the fan and motor. I did have to reuse the mounting bracket but that was an easy three screw transfer. My wife claims it is...
