1. After hearing a loud noise on the freezer side of unit about halfway up, I started investigating what it could be? My conclusion was evaporator motor or evaporator fan blade. I removed to the cover to the coil, defrosted coil with a heat gun and checked the heater strip resistance. I set timer to defrost by hand to make sure everything was working. There was damage to the temp control sensor. Both parts were on your web site at a good price, ordering was easy. The parts were in the mail two days later. • Light not working

Went to the Internet, entered the make and model number, read possible causes, viewed videos on fixes and determined it was probably the socket. Viewed the schematic to determine the correct part number. Ordered a new socket. Received it within three days and in less than 5 minutes replaced the light socket. Once I purchased the correct motor it literally took less that 10 minutes from start to finish to replace the motor. After unplugging the refrigerator, I unscrewed two machine screws to remove the cover and unscrewed two machine screws to remove the motor. I removed the old motor from the housing, installed the new motor, reattached the motor to the refrigerator, replaced the cover, and plugged in the refrigerator. Installation was quick and simple. Had a friend who is an appliance repair tech. Replace the evaporator, the heater coil, and the filter/drier. Parts were soldered together and the compressor was put under vacuum. Then, charged with 5 oz. of refrigerant. The freezer works great now! Read more

Removed the freezer shelves and back panel, evaporator coils were frozen with ice. Defrosted coil and removed defrost heater connectors, measured no continuity in the heater and ordered a replacement. Also discovered the aluminum retention strap was broken and the heater had slipped down in it's position, ordered and replacement strap. Just missed having decent ice trays. The only ones I could find were either: 1. Expensive 2. Flimsy - only lasted a couple of months 3.
