- Helps ensure even baking and roasting across racks
- Typical failure symptoms: no heat in Bake, very slow preheat, uneven or undercooked results
- Visual clues: blistering, cracks, or a burned-through spot on the element
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power at the breaker and allow the oven to cool completely
- Remove racks; take out the element's mounting screws and gently pull the element forward
- Transfer the two wires to the new element one at a time; do not let wires slip back into the insulation
- Reinstall the element and screws, restore power, and test for proper heating
