Replacement of the element was relatively straightforward, but there are a couple of things to be aware of before you begin. First, turn off power to the stove at the breaker box. Allow the cooktop to raise by removing the two screws that secures it on the underside of the front edge. Open the oven door to do this. On this model stove, there are five burners-two burners in the front, two in the back and one in the middle. The front two burners are different than the other three, they are the largest burners. You can use a 11/32 socket with an extension to go down the middle hole of the burner and screw-out the natural gas orifices.
