The receptacle that held the burner element in place was broken so the burner would not make a connection and heat up. I ordered the receptacle kit. Online chat here said that the oven sensor should be replaced. I got the feeling that was a bit off, so I went with my gut and ordered the thermostat as well. Replaced the sensor and that didn't fix it. Replaced the thermostat and it worked like a charm! Had to pull double oven and range top out from wall which involved removing the upper kitchen cabinet. Took the sheet metal off the back and had the socket swapped out in a couple of minutes. My old oven works like a charm! Read more

I had one element that would operate wide open when turned on the low setting. It needed the switch replaced. Since I was replacing other elements I went ahead replaced them all, adding new drip pans and wiring kits to each new element.
