The Water Line is an OEM part for LG refrigerators, designed to supply water to the ice maker and water dispenser. Made from durable materials to withstand water pressure and prevent leaks, this water line is essential for access to clean, filtered water at all times. Note: color of the water tube may be different from original. Tube is 5/16" diameter
Symptoms of a bad Water Line include:
- Leaking of water at the connection points or along the tubing.
- A noticeable decrease in water flow to the dispenser or ice maker.
- A bad taste or odor of the water and ice
Causes of failure can range from physical damage, such as kinks or punctures, to wear and tear over time leading to brittleness or weakening of the material. These issues can compromise the integrity of the water supply, affecting both the quality and safety of the water and ice provided by your refrigerator.
This OEM LG part can also be used on Kenmore/Sears appliances.

Split/leaking water line on my lg refrigerator Craig L. • Collinsville , TX • July 27, 2014
Removed the old line and replaced with the new. This is the sixth time I've replaced the line. Yes you read that right, the sixth time. Lines fail about every 6-8 months so I can change one out now in about 10-15 minutes. Bought the refrigerator in Feb '09 and the line first failed in March 2012. Since then I've had failures in as little as 4 months to as much as 9 months. Frustrating to say the least, but I'm a whiz at changing out the line :-)

Water stopped flowing from the door water dispenser and ice maker. John H. • Lake Worth , FL • March 28, 2014
I viewed the self help video on You Tube and checked the water pressure first. Once the water pressure was determined to be fine I ordered a new water inlet valve as recommended from the video.
LG supplier did not have the recommended part and after checking on-line I found Appliance Parts Pros had just what I needed.
The video from Appliance Plus Pros showed step by step on how to replace the water inlet valve. It took me approximately 15 minutes to remove the old one and install the new one....

The LG Refrigerator Water Filter is an OEM Replacement Part. It is designed to improve the quality of water and protect refrigerators and ice machines from sediment deposits. This NSF-Certified filter effectively reduces iron and particulates. It also preserves beneficial minerals like fluoride. The filter measures 5.6 inches high and 3.3 inches in diameter.
It is installed by removing the top shelf and pulling the old filter downward. Then turn it counter-clockwise, and replace it with the new filter aligned in a horizontal position. To ensure the best performance and the removal of trapped air and contaminants, it's recommended to flush the dispenser with 2.5 gallons of water in alternating cycles. If your model includes a water filter indicator, press and hold the Filter or Reset button for 5 seconds after installation. With a lifespan of 6 months and a 500-gallon capacity, this filter provides both quality and longevity.

Cheese drawer aka snack pan rail handles for LG refrigerator broke left and right Chelsea L. • Del Rio , TX • November 04, 2020
I googled around to find the part number, ordered the part and replaced it. I was initially advised to get a different piece than I had searched for. I was advised to get the "crisper drawer" rail handle instead of the "cheese drawer / snack pan" rail handle. The piece I was advised to get was wrong, but the company immediately fixed their mistake without any hassle or delay. The description of the part was also correct in that it did not contain a screw or wheel so I knew to salvage that from...

The lower right hinge assembly on refrigerator needed to be replaced Jeffrey M. • Casselberry , FL • June 17, 2015
The left hinge works on the right side as well as the left. All you have to do is unscrew the little plastic post and move it to the other hole. So even though the web might say that the left hinge assembly is not compatible with your fridge, or that the right hinge assembly is no longer available, it will still work.
The door stopper assembly worked just fine. All you have to do is screw it in to the bottom of the door.
You will have to disassemble the top hinge (on top of the fridge) in...
