Split/leaking water line on my lg refrigerator Craig L. • Collinsville , TX • July 27, 2014
Removed the old line and replaced with the new. This is the sixth time I've replaced the line. Yes you read that right, the sixth time. Lines fail about every 6-8 months so I can change one out now in about 10-15 minutes. Bought the refrigerator in Feb '09 and the line first failed in March 2012. Since then I've had failures in as little as 4 months to as much as 9 months. Frustrating to say the least, but I'm a whiz at changing out the line :-)

Water stopped flowing from the door water dispenser and ice maker. John H. • Lake Worth , FL • March 28, 2014
I viewed the self help video on You Tube and checked the water pressure first. Once the water pressure was determined to be fine I ordered a new water inlet valve as recommended from the video.
LG supplier did not have the recommended part and after checking on-line I found Appliance Parts Pros had just what I needed.
The video from Appliance Plus Pros showed step by step on how to replace the water inlet valve. It took me approximately 15 minutes to remove the old one and install the new one....

The lower right hinge assembly on refrigerator needed to be replaced Jeffrey M. • Casselberry , FL • June 17, 2015
The left hinge works on the right side as well as the left. All you have to do is unscrew the little plastic post and move it to the other hole. So even though the web might say that the left hinge assembly is not compatible with your fridge, or that the right hinge assembly is no longer available, it will still work.
The door stopper assembly worked just fine. All you have to do is screw it in to the bottom of the door.
You will have to disassemble the top hinge (on top of the fridge) in...

The old filter head was broken at the supply line side connector fell out. The clicking noise eventually caused the fridge to warm up and stop cooling. The clicking was the overload relay tripping. The Start solenoid on the compressor was an Embarco TSD part 513604044. APP does not have that part nor does any else found a similar one on ebay but I ordered the PTC assembly 6749C-0014E. GE monogram range hood lights did not work. Kenmore refrigerator water dispenser would not shut off. Mark W. • Belair , MD • January 11, 2020
Refrigerator was easy. Simply replaced the activator switch that was sticking. The range hood was a little more difficult. I had replaced the switch years ago but it still didn’t work.
