I replaced the solenoid valve and trimmed a small amount of the tubing that serves the ice maker and water dispenser. The only problem was there is almost NO slack in that tubing. If you trim more than a half inch off, you won't have enough tubing to connect it on both ends.

Replaced tank assembly. Actually I think the supply hose was originally not fully seated in the tank and I think I could have re-seated it deeper through the gray bushing. When I set the line into the new tank, still leaking. Pulled out supply line and reset using a little more force and line went into the tank. So I read a number of the earlier posts regarding the required repairs and went forward with all those repairs. In short, I replaced the wiring harness, door switches, and bulbs. The problem still persisted so I went ahead and replaced the control board. That did the trick. So for my unit, LG LFX25960ST replacing all those components were required. All repairs were easy and the videos and posts are all helpful.
