The Oven Ignitor is an OEM replacement part for LG ovens. It is a critical component responsible for igniting the gas burners or heating elements within the oven, allowing it to reach and maintain the desired cooking temperatures.
Symptoms of a bad oven ignitor include:
Causes of an oven ignitor failure can range from general wear and tear over time, to electrical or mechanical malfunctions, to obstructions or buildup preventing proper ignition. This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore models.
We were getting an intermittent F19 code on our lower oven mainly. This code gets triggered when the oven fails to heat up to a minimum temperature within a specific amount of time. I figured this was being caused by an ignition failure so I bought this new ignitor. As it turns out, if you have a double oven then you will have two ignitors. Just keep that in mind in case you are thinking about replacing both or you are seeing errors in both ovens. The ignitor in the lower oven is located below... Read more

This is a lever supporter that sits behind the control knob on a range, providing structural support for the knob shaft and ensuring the knob engages properly with the selector switch or valve stem. It helps maintain correct knob alignment and rotational feel. Replace this part if the control knob feels loose, spins freely without engaging, or if the original support is cracked or broken.
Replaced the cheap plastic lever supporter with another LG OEM cheap plastic lever supporter. I should have bought two as I can see this problem happening again. Job was a simple fix and only required a Phillips head screwdriver. I did not need to remove any connections as there was enough room and wire to pull out the oven control assembly and make the repair. One word of caution is to be careful as the sheet metal internal cover and bottom of the control knob panel is razor... Read more

Microwave won't turn on or has no power? A failed thermostat often causes complete power loss. Moderate DIY repair requires disassembly to access.
I checked for the reasons there was no power to the microwave. Then I talked with the technician at AppliancePartsPros who stated that it was most likely a blown or defective fuse. My LG microwave has two thermal fuses, a fuse assembly with two prongs and a short (1 inch) barrel type fuse. I replaced all of them after viewing YouTube videos and then reviewing the diagram for my microwave on the AppliancePartsPrps website. That was very helpful in locating where the fuses were installed. It... Read more

Well brought range home and hooked up the gas, lots of clicking with sparks and low and behold range cooktop wouldn't turn on.
