Did some Google searches and most comments concerning this issue on LG stoves indicated the high temperature thermostat malfunctions when using the self cleaning function. Ordered a new convection fan motor and blade. Had to remove current blade from inside oven, then remove back panels (yes, it took two to get to the fan motor), and replaced the motor. Old motor well past shot. Had been noisy for about 3-4 weeks, but our kitchen was being remodeled, so we let it slide. Once it was clear how to remove back panel, the job was easy. • Element will not heat

It was very easy to find the part we needed, I put the model number in and it showed all the parts. Picked the broken buner, ordered it and was amazed, it came the next day. The directions were on the back of our stove. Simply followed what it said to do. Replaced burner, put it back together. Works perfectly. Wish we would of fixed it sooner. When Microwaving food, the display panel would seem to act normal, but the typical microwave sound would be absent. No microwave action would occur. Eventually an F5 code would display. Problem was the upper door switch. Found it by opening up the cabinet, removing the display panel (1 screw and a couple of plugs) and testing all three micro switched with a meter.
