The Cover is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. It provides a protective barrier that shields internal components from damage and extends the life of the appliance.
The cover is exposed to heat, humidity, and debris during each wash cycle. Over time and repeated use, these conditions can cause cracks, warping or breakdown of the protective plastic material.

Somehow one of the mounting brackets disappeared after I had the cabinets and counter replaced, but these were a perfect replacement. They don't stick out as wide as the original brackets, but I think these are a better design. Also, the I found the original brackets online, but they were way overpriced, so i was glad to find these.
