High level of noise with each compressor cycle Bruce H. • Bonita Springs , FL • July 24, 2015
The installation of the new condenser motor was as the video described; there were no surprises. I noted the difference in operation immediately, the fan was moving at a higher rate of speed in a smoother motion. The new motor had far less shaft end play and seems to move more air across the condenser coil than the original motor. All in all, this was a relatively easy repair that solved a real refrigerator performance problem; the unit now cycles less often and generates less compressor heat.

Ice dispenser motor bad Scott P. • Dacula , GA • March 27, 2021
I received my new part in about 3-4 days. Part was exact match for my existing motor. After watching the installation video on this website I was able to garner the rudimentary directions to replace the motor. The video did not match the exact fridge I had. My fridge did not have the access panel on the interior of the freezer. I had to remove the two screws at the water ice dispenser tray on the outside and slide that unit off the front. Before removing the motor, open the freezer and remove...

The Water Reservoir Tubing is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool refrigerators. It is a flexible plastic tubing that replaces the water reservoir and holds the water for the ice maker and dispenser.
Causes can include cracks from heat or cold exposure over time, punctures from sharp edges during installation, or deterioration of plastic tubing that impacts integrity.
Symptoms of bad water reservoir tubing include:
- Inaccurate or inconsistent ice production
- Leaks or water spills near the reservoir or ice maker
- Kinks or ruptures in the tubing that obstruct water flow
- Mineral buildup that clogs or restricts the line
This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and some Kenmore models.
Note: As per manufacture this is no longer a tank. The tank style has been updated with coiled tubing.

Water in refrigerator dispenser smelled like rotten eggs Dale L. • Phoenix , AZ • July 29, 2018
Replaced water reservoir that had become contaminated with ??? Also had to replace the water filter, because the water contaminated it also. Cost was about $150, for two filters and the reservoir. The first filter was replaced because I did not know the reservoir was contaminated, and no water was coming out of the dispenser. Since the water in the ice maker did not come through the reservoir, there was no smell or contamination there. The new filter enabled water to come through the dispenser,...
