Internet videos provided troubleshooting help. Verified ice maker working by shorting terminals and then verified valve was bad with ohmmeter check. Troubleshooting Info available with Google youtbube search. Part arrived with 3 days. 30 minute change out. Our refrigerator is over 15 years old and has been working great with only minor complaints and repairs. We noticed that our water level has been discolored from minor dripping. Our hard water discolors everything. We decided to replace this lever and. The ice dispense lever was also replaced since we wanted both to match and I had to open that area anyway. Removed old handles by sliding the top and bottom trim covers up and down respectively which reveals the handle screws, unscrewing the old handles ( 4 screws each) screwing in the the new handles and sliding the covers back in place. Probably took 5 minutes. Excellent! Read more
