My 1984 dishwasher that still works great was an eyesore & I didn't match my other appliances. Dorothy L. • Raleigh , NC • March 24, 2014
I purchased a can of black appliance spray paint, removed the panels on the dishwasher, sprayed them, and a few hours later put them back. They're beautiful and it looks like I have a brand new dishwasher! It now matches everything and looks great with the new granite counter tops I just installed. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT IDEA!!! I'm a 76 year old female and my friends think I'm a genius!

This ice container assembly holds and channels cubed ice from the ice maker to the dispenser area, keeping ice contained and ready for use. It replaces a cracked, warped or missing ice bin to restore normal ice storage. What it does
- Collects and stores ice produced by the ice maker to prevent spills and buildup in the cabinet
- Guides ice toward the dispenser/auger area for consistent delivery
- Prevents ice from jamming or falling into other refrigerator compartments
- Helps maintain proper ice flow when the original bin is damaged or warped
What's included
- One ice container assembly
Install notes
- Disconnect power to the refrigerator before removing or installing the ice container
- Remove existing ice and empty the freezer area to avoid spills during replacement
- Align the bin with the guides and slide into place until it seats securely; do not force
- If ice delivery issues persist after installation, check the ice maker/auger and dispenser components

The ice bucket housing had disintegrated and the motor twisted off Lloyd W. • Streamwood , IL • January 08, 2026
I pulled out the old housing and unplugged the motor. It pretty much came out in pieces.
Remove the plastic from the motor, then had to take a pair of vice grips to hold the spindle in place to remove the auger. Remove what was still attached to the old Housing. Cleaned everything up and put the whole unit back together. The motor looked like it was somewhat cooked but still worked, so I ordered a new motor and auger to replace it. Because this fridge is 24 yrs old, Appliancepartspros...
