The Water Reservoir Tubing is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool refrigerators. It is a flexible plastic tubing that replaces the water reservoir and holds the water for the ice maker and dispenser.
Causes can include cracks from heat or cold exposure over time, punctures from sharp edges during installation, or deterioration of plastic tubing that impacts integrity.
Symptoms of bad water reservoir tubing include:
- Inaccurate or inconsistent ice production
- Leaks or water spills near the reservoir or ice maker
- Kinks or ruptures in the tubing that obstruct water flow
- Mineral buildup that clogs or restricts the line
This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and some Kenmore models.
Note: As per manufacture this is no longer a tank. The tank style has been updated with coiled tubing.

Water in refrigerator dispenser smelled like rotten eggs Dale L. • Phoenix , AZ • July 29, 2018
Replaced water reservoir that had become contaminated with ??? Also had to replace the water filter, because the water contaminated it also. Cost was about $150, for two filters and the reservoir. The first filter was replaced because I did not know the reservoir was contaminated, and no water was coming out of the dispenser. Since the water in the ice maker did not come through the reservoir, there was no smell or contamination there. The new filter enabled water to come through the dispenser,...

Water all over freezer and poor ice quality and quantity. Patrick H. • Minot , ND • August 11, 2017
I ordered the valve inlet and Ice Mould from Appliance Pros and upon their arrival I watched the video on APP.com and installed the parts in about the time it took to view the video. Freezer is ice free and ice bin is full of perfect cubes.
I've ordered parts from Appliance parts pro for my Maytag Washer after a repair man said he couldn't fix it for less than $300. I got the latch control, watched the video and installed in 15 minutes and all for far less than $100. Love this company!

Ice maker auger would not turn Michelle E. • Kailua-Kona , HI • February 17, 2016
We ordered the parts using the parts diagram and reviewed the "how to" video. Though an older part doesn't come apart as easy as the new one used for the video we found the information useful and were able to follow the steps shown.
The new parts were easy to put in place and everything worked properly when done. We appreciate the time you have taken to prepare the videos and for your excellent customer service.
We will recommend your company to others

Needed replacement shelf trim for freezer door and old rubber flap on ice chute was disintegrating Stephanie M. • Tyngsboro , MA • November 18, 2017
I checked on the Appliance Parts Pros website and found the exact parts. There was a full video showing how to remove the old part and install the new part. The video showed me what tools I needed and spelled out e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. Might seem mundane to someone who is savvy in making these repairs but that is the whole point: Do not assume everyone just "knows" how to DIY these appliance parts. Thank you VERY much for the speedy shipment and step by step instructions and descriptions. I...
