This bearing nut secures a bearing and related rotating components on the shaft, keeping the assembly tight and aligned for smooth, dependable operation. Replacing a worn or stripped nut helps stop wobble, noise, and drive slippage.
- Locks the bearing/stack onto the shaft to prevent loosening
- Maintains alignment for smooth rotation and reduced vibration
- Helps restore consistent drive in shaft-driven assemblies
- Typical symptoms: loose or non-turning drive, rattling/grinding, or visible thread damage
What's included: 1 bearing nut Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; shut off water if working near dispenser components
- Remove the related assembly to access the shaft; note part order for reassembly
- Hand-start the nut to avoid cross-threading; verify thread direction against the original
- Tighten securely; inspect the bearing, washers/spacers, and shaft for wear

Ice stripper removes ice cubes from the ice maker mold so the dispenser or storage bin fills properly. Replacing a worn or broken stripper helps the ice maker eject cubes cleanly and reduces ice jams or stuck cubes. What it does:
- Pushes or guides harvested cubes out of the ice mold into the bin during the ice maker's harvest cycle.
- Prevents cubes from sticking in the mold; a damaged stripper can cause incomplete ejection or leftover ice in the mold.
- Works with the ice maker's ejector mechanism to maintain consistent cube release and storage.
- A faulty or broken stripper may lead to noisy operation, partial fills, or visible ice build-up in the mold.
What's included: One ice stripper. Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any repair to avoid electrical shock.
- Remove the ice maker or access panel per the manufacturer's instructions to reach the stripper; keep small parts and screws organized.
- Inspect the ice mold and surrounding components for damage or ice build-up; clear ice before installing the new stripper.
- After installation, restore power and run a test harvest cycle to ensure proper cube ejection.

Ice stripper was broken on ice maker John A. • Baton Rouge , LA • March 12, 2015
Checked out the video on your site on how to disassemble the ice maker. Was really easy when you know the correct sequence. Only 3 screws and it's out of the freezer. Disassembled the ice maker on my kitchen counter and replaced the ice stripper. Reassembled and installed back in my freezer. It is as good as new

- Disconnect power and turn off water supply before servicing
- Access is typically from the top; remove panels as needed to reach the dispenser assembly
- Transfer any seals, clamps, or hardware from the old chute

I purchased a can of black appliance spray paint, removed the panels on the dishwasher, sprayed them, and a few hours later put them back. They're beautiful and it looks like I have a brand new dishwasher! It now matches everything and looks great with the new granite counter tops I just installed. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT IDEA!!! I'm a 76 year old female and my friends think I'm a genius!

Kenmore side by side 10659292990 Eva R. • Hinckley , OH • June 05, 2015
Our water started to hesitate before dispensing. This happened for about a week and then it stopped dispensing altogether. The ice maker was working, but when I put my ear above the dispenser, I heard no humming when depressed. Searched for a solution and watched some youtube videos and decided to try this part. Worked like a charm. Install was sloppy because I was trying to remove and replace from the back of the cover. In fact, peeling th adhesive off the front was the only way. It looks...
