Symptoms of a bad ice dispenser lever include:

Failure to dispense ice when the lever is lifted
Loose, wobbly, or uneven movement of the lever
Ice dispenser mechanism not triggering properly

Causes of a bad lever can be worn gears or connector linkages inside the ice dispensing mechanism from repeated use over time.

I replaced the Ice Dispenser Lever. Since the replacement part is only available in white and my fridge is bone, I replaced also the Water Dispenser Lever, so it looks much better. I followed the instructions in the video, which were very useful and very well done.
