I took the new seal out of it's packaging and used a blowdryer on low heat to soften up the seal so that the crease from shipping (it was folded to ship) disappeared. Next I took the refrigerator door off, removed the old seal, & cleaned the area where the new seal would be applied. Following the video on the Appliance Pro Parts website, I re-installed the new seal and put the door back on. Last step was to snap on the new hinge cap I ordered. New gasket. Thought it would be as easy as the video demonstration ('just slide the gasket in") but it wasn't. My unit is 16 years old, so the old gasket was really stuck in there.
