A small snap-in fastener designed to secure interior trim, panels, and lightweight components. It holds parts firmly in place to reduce movement and rattling for a cleaner, more stable fit. What it does:
- Secures plastic trim, access panels, and other non-structural components
- Keeps panels aligned and prevents vibration or rattling noises
- Replaces worn or broken retainers that allow trim to sag or fall away
- Used where a push-in, snap retention is required for a finished appearance
What's included: One snap-in fastener as shown Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before working near electrical components
- Remove surrounding trim or panel to access the fastener; a trim tool or flat screwdriver may help
- Push the fastener into the mating hole until it snaps; ensure it seats fully
- Handle plastic retainers gently; replace any additional brittle or damaged clips for best results

High level of noise with each compressor cycle Bruce H. • Bonita Springs , FL • July 24, 2015
The installation of the new condenser motor was as the video described; there were no surprises. I noted the difference in operation immediately, the fan was moving at a higher rate of speed in a smoother motion. The new motor had far less shaft end play and seems to move more air across the condenser coil than the original motor. All in all, this was a relatively easy repair that solved a real refrigerator performance problem; the unit now cycles less often and generates less compressor heat.

The ice maker bracket is an OEM part for Whirlpool refrigerators. This bracket is a structural component that holds and supports the icemaker assembly within the refrigerator. It allows for secure mounting and installation of the icemaker while also maintaining proper alignment.
Causes of a bad bracket can include wear and tear over time, cracks or breaks due to impact or stress, or corrosion issues that compromise the integrity of the mounting structure.
Symptoms of a bad bracket include:
- Loose or unstable icemaker installation
- Improper ice production or dispensing
- Noise or vibrations emanating from the icemaker area
- Moisture leaks or water damage near the bracket mounting points
This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Not making ice. Alan S. • Las Vegas , NV • May 17, 2020
Replaced the ice maker. The kit came with everything I needed to replace the ice maker. Parts that did not come with the kit were re-used from the old one. My Whirlpool refrig/freezer is an older model so the wiring harness that came with the kit was different from my existing. So instead of disconnecting the ice maker wiring harness from the freezer, I had to disconnect the harness at the ice maker. That was a b..... Anyway after about 20 minutes, finally unhooked the connector. I had...
