Our old kenmore freezer was turning on and off the power was on but the compreesor kept starting and stopping John T. • Middletown , RI • August 28, 2014
I checked on line for possible issues and it came back to the PTC relay overload assembly. I ordered one and verified with the technician if the instructions for wiring it up to an older model is addressed. He sent me a copy of the instructions and it covered everything. The part came in a about three days and I had it wired up in about 30 minutes with no issues.
It's been running like a champ.

Freezer was icing over blocking port holes to the fridge section Samuel K. • Summit Point , WV • April 06, 2016
I defrosted the freezer and replaced the defrost temperature switch on the cooling coils. I cut the wires and used two small wire nuts to complete the splices. I defrosted the freezer with a hair dryer, but you have to careful not to melt the thin plastic walls and bottom of the freezer. You only need a nut driver, wire cutter, and wire stripper and two small wire nuts, (not supplied with part).

It was actually 2 parts that screwed together, she alerted me to this fact. She guided me, on my computer, to the right parts. She was very efficient and in less than a a minute had located both parts. I purchased the parts, which took about a week or so to arrive. Now my bottom refrigerator drawers are in position and sliding...

Well it was very easy that appliance pros have the right specs for the refrigerator. So we located the parts we needed after ordering it was only a couble of days that the parts were here great service And yes the problem is fixed and know I don't have to have my wife tell me it needs to be fixed.
