This exhaust pipe directs heated air from the dryer drum to the household vent, restoring proper airflow for efficient drying and reduced lint buildup. It's a direct-fit replacement designed to match the OEM airflow path. What it does:
- Channels dryer exhaust from the appliance to the external vent to maintain proper airflow.
- Helps prevent lint accumulation in the cabinet by providing a sealed exhaust path.
- Can reduce long dry times and overheating caused by restricted or damaged venting.
- Addresses symptoms such as poor drying performance, hot dryer cabinet, or noticeable burning/overheating smells near the dryer vent area.
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power (and gas, if applicable) before starting work; the appliance is fully de-energized.
- Wear gloves to avoid sharp edges; remove old pipe and clean vent connections before installing the replacement.
- Secure with appropriate clamps or fasteners and ensure a continuous, unobstructed path to the exterior vent.
- After installation, run a short cycle to check for leaks.

The dryer would not start Dennis S. • Bangor , PA • December 05, 2014
Replaced the push to start switch and the thermal fuse. The dryer is 23 years old and is working fine since we replaced the parts that were recommended on your website. Even with the cost of next day delivery, our cost was way less than we would have paid to have a professional repairman do the job. All around excellent experience. Thank you.

The lever to turn on dryer was broken the handle was broken and the latch was broken David R. • Jemison , AL • February 09, 2015
I opened the top of the dryer (after watching the video on your website) and replaced the lever on the switch. Removed two screws near the lint filter, used a putty knife to release fasteners under the top and raised the top. Held it in place with a short piece of board then removed the two screws holding in the switch and lever. Replaced the broken lever with the new one and put it all back together. The handle was a little more difficult as it took a lot more prying with a screwdriver to...
