Thermal fuse had blown and wire had melted as a result Benjamin S. • Portland , ME • July 02, 2018
I replaced the thermal cutoff kit and a heating element connection wire. Super simple and probably saved me over $100 if I had called a repairman. The videos on your site as well as the customer service person I spoke with were SUPER helpful. Thank you!!!

This pipe plug seals an unused or service opening in a household appliance's plumbing to stop leaks and prevent debris entry. It restores a watertight closure so the appliance can operate safely and without water loss. What it does:
- Plugs open pipe or hose fittings to prevent water leaks
- Helps maintain proper water flow by sealing unused ports
- Keeps debris and contaminants out of the plumbing system
- Can stop intermittent drips originating from service openings
What's included:
Install notes:
- Turn off water supply and power to the appliance before starting work
- Hand-start threads to avoid cross-threading; tighten only to OEM torque or finger-tight plus a quarter-turn if unspecified
- If the original used sealant or gasket, replace with the same type per OEM instructions

The motor on our clothes dryer was doing a "self protection" thermal or overload shutdown and there was a strong odor in the tub Jim S. • Fallon , NV • November 27, 2015
It took two repair attempts to fix the dryer. At first, I noticed that the rear felt seal was completely worn out, so I thought that extra friction between the tub and the rear panel might be causing the motor to have to work too hard and overheat. I ordered a new seal from appliancepartspros.com, and installed it according to their instructional video, but it did not correct the problem. Then I decided that the motor must be going bad, so I watched the on-line video on how to remove the...

Missing front panel plug & burned out light bulb in dryer drum Will S. • Shelby Township , MI • September 28, 2015
When I found the dryer off Craigslist, I didn't notice until recently the front panel plug was missing. I ordered the plug from Appliance Parts Pros, got the part & installation took seconds as it was a snap-in part. Couldn't be any happier. Also discovered the drum would not light up when the door opened. Ordered the bulb also from Appliance Parts Pros. Unplugged the dryer, unscrewed the lens cover, removed the burned bulb, cleaned out the light area, installed the bulb, replugged the...
