I took the stove vent completely apart so I could clean it inside and out. I boiled the fan blowers in a large pot until all the grease melted off. I sprayed the bare hood with oven cleaner and rinsed it off. I do know NOT to use oven cleaner on aluminum so I boiled the screens also. Those are not that old. Everything almost looks new now.
