I replaced the defrost timer, which took about 10 minutes. After replacing the timer, I cleared out some ice that filled up the air passage from the freezer to the fridge (which allows the cold air to pass through from the freezer to the fridge). I went to sleep and the next morning the fridge was ice cold!!! Such a relief that I was able to spend a few bucks instead of hundreds for a new fridge. The parts took about 1 day to arrive, which was great.

Removed the freezer shelves and back panel, evaporator coils were frozen with ice. Defrosted coil and removed defrost heater connectors, measured no continuity in the heater and ordered a replacement. Also discovered the aluminum retention strap was broken and the heater had slipped down in it's position, ordered and replacement strap. 1. Expensive
2. Flimsy - only lasted a couple of months
3. Silicone-bottomed that half the compartments leak after a few uses
