I checked with Appliance Parts Pros.com and found out that the likely culprit was a broken Ice Dispenser Actuator Arm. I watched a video on the same site and figured I could change that part. I wanted to confirm it was that part so I took the front section apart. The Ice Dispenser Actuator Arm was in fact broken; the little tab that strikes the switch had broken off. I typed the problem into the internet and the Appliance parts pros came up, after entering the model number and make of the refridgerator with the assistance of on line chat the problem was diagnosed. The part suggested was a new control panel and wiring harness. The order was recieved in less than 2 days from when I ordered it.
