The part or else the dispenser is not well made. The actuator needs to pivot and drop into a slot after seating the opposite end. But the actuator bar hits a rib on the dispenser that keeps your from pushing the bar in with the other end seated. And that is the only way to put it in. I ended up using a dremel and reworking the rib so that it allowed the bar to pass and seat. The part is also very poorly made. The end of the Actuator bar with the switch is not one piece. Such a simple replacement! Only had to remove 1 screw from the back of the fridge. I took the broken piece off and replaced with new. Worked perfectly. Read more
