Walk into the kitchen on 21 Sep. Eight year old Frigidaire refrigerator appears to be short cycling, controls are nonfunctional. Unplug it for a few minutes, plug it back in, appears to return to normal function. Return to kitchen half hour 45 minutes later it's short cycling again. Previously, I removed the lower rear cardboard back of the unit and saw the crack in the defrost pan. It was probably damaged when unit was moved using appliance hand truck. I looked up the part number AP4319611 in the exploded view diagrams of the unit. The part was ordered and delivered in a few short days. I put a new bottom grill but I had to loosen up the socket bolt on the bottom corner so the grill can fit in. After that I had to tighten the socket bolt back up. There were three of them and only two were good and one of them was bad. There was two on the top and one on the bottom. I took the bottom and replaced it to the top left in order to hold the door and it be able to open and close. I also changed the rubber gasket door. I applied Vaseline around it. Replaced start relay and capacitor. Good news, repair successful. Bad news, parts supplied are not direct fit plug and play on my Frigidaire model. Supplied parts are larger than the original. Wire retaining clip needs to be modified to hold relay in position against compressor. Original Molex connector did not connect to the supplied relay. My 10 year old frig door was hanging down to the point it wasnt fully closing and sealing unless you picked up on it. I ordered a lower hinge bracket, upper and lower bearing, and spacer. My bracket was bent down a little due to my kids hanging on the door when looking at the bottom shelf and i discovered my bracket was held on by only two bolts when there was supposed to be three. Removed the freezer shelves and back panel, evaporator coils were frozen with ice. Defrosted coil and removed defrost heater connectors, measured no continuity in the heater and ordered a replacement. Also discovered the aluminum retention strap was broken and the heater had slipped down in it's position, ordered and replacement strap.
