After 20 years of flawless service my gas range needed repair: the thermostat. I viewed GE's DYI repair video. Its a very easy repair that should have taken 20 minutes but it took us forever because we couldn't get the oven sensor to snake into the oven chamber. The angle was too acute. Eventually we figured out a solution.
(also we proceeded a bit slow because we're not used to doing repairs. took pics along the way so we didn't forget what goes where)

I ordered these new burner pans because the originals were, well, just worn out. It's a follow up to replacing some control knobs. Why buy a new stove when your stove works well? Now my stove looks like new again and expect to get many more years of use.
