I lifted up the door and removed it. Next, I laid out newspaper on the floor. I placed the door on the newspaper upside down. With my socket driver, I removed the bottom door trim. I then used a pocket knife to remove the remaining glass in the top groove. I then slid in the new glass and reinstalled the trim. Replaced the Broil Burner and Oven Igniter. Removed the door (lifts out easily). Moved out oven to access electrical socket and gas line. Unplugged electricity. Shut off gas. Disconnected gas line. Moved out oven to access back panel. Disconnected Igniter clip. Removed the small access plate. Unscrewed holding screws from broil burner and removed the old Burner and Igniter. Put the new burner and Igniter together and reversed the process. So far so good. Was a $70 repair or a $1000 new... Read more
