Changed the washer behind fan blade and it quieted right down. Read more

I researched the problem and determined that the only thing that can cause this was compressor bad or not starting. Since it was cold the day before I felt it had to be the starter parts and ordered them. It was also very important to clean the coil which I believe caused the over heating. Read more

Went online ordered the two parts needed which were discounted lower than the list price Sears wanted for the two parts. After ordering the parts were delivered within two days transit time. Took me less than ten minutes to swap out the two defective parts. Read more

Swapped it out for new tube. Take 5 minutes and zero effort. The drain tube will clog with mold. You can clean it out but the tube will clog again despite's you best efforts as the tube wall provide a great habitat. Ordered new tubes to facilitate swap-outs. Old tubes can be cleaned but will recolonize quickly. Read more

I fixed the drip with a bit of silicone. I fixed the rusty parts Auger & End Plate by replacing them. I repaired the dispenser by replacing the defective door. I used the various videos connected with the parts ( including related parts that I did not replace but required removing them first) to learn and confirm how to properly remove and replace the parts.
