I unplugged the oven and left it installed over the range, removed the screws for the bottom plate, unplugged the cable for the bottom lamp and the turn table motor. Two screws removed the motor and the mount from the bottom of the oven. The new motor and mount replacement parts in the kit were installed easily by replacing the two mounting screws. If you search for this issue online, you’ll see this is caused by a faulty door switch - the primary interlock micro switch (with the red button). This switch is at the lowest position in the bracket that holds the switches. The hardest part for me was pulling the cover off. Two screws on one side of the black cover, one on the other side and several screws in back. The cover slides back. The switches are clearly visible on the right hand side. Replaced unit. You need to know that the touch pad needs to come out to make repair. One screw and two tabs on bottom. Mechanical connection on damper unit has a tab that connects assembly to damper unit. This needed to be bent up to remove old part. Read more
