I bought this relay switch and it works great. On the left side of the compressor there is a plastic cover you pry off with a screw driver. The relay switch had one wire plug on it. Just pull the wire off and the pull the relay switch off the compressor. Read more

I replace the water inlet valve in my refrigerator about 8 months ago. About a week ago, the old plastic water line broke. I forgot how the water line connector worked and broke the valve trying to pull it out. I got a new valve and replacement water line, and it went in easily, just like the video said. Spliced new and old power cord near the connections in the fridge and connected them. Didn't mess with the factory harnesses or connections inside actual fridge. Read more

Replaced original (18 yrs.) 1/4" plastic tubing, clamp and grommet (AppliancePartsPros/GE parts) from outlet of ice maker water control valve to ice maker inlet. Also replaced water supply line to inlet of water control valve with new, GE braided, PEX 1/4" supply line with pre-attached female compression fittings on both ends. Hired a repair professional. This is an expensive fridge so I wanted to repair rather than replace. The estimated cost for the repair was quite high, but at least it was itemized.
