This refrigerator water line is the plastic tubing that routes pressurized water through the appliance's water system. Replacing a cracked, brittle, or kinked line helps restore proper water flow and prevents leaks inside or around the unit.
- Carries water between the inlet valve and the refrigerator's water system components
- Helps maintain a sealed path for reliable flow to the dispenser and/or ice maker
- Replace if tubing is cracked, kinked, brittle, or leaking
- Common symptoms include puddling, dripping, reduced/No water at the dispenser, or ice maker not filling
What's included: One water line/tube. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before servicing
- Note the original routing and clip locations; avoid sharp bends and kinks during installation
- Fully seat tubing into existing connectors/fittings on your model
- Turn water back on, check all connections for leaks, and purge air by dispensing water

Old plastic water line broke and i broke the valve trying to pull the end of the water line out Ronald W. • Sagaponack , NY • May 13, 2017
I replace the water inlet valve in my refrigerator about 8 months ago. About a week ago, the old plastic water line broke. I forgot how the water line connector worked and broke the valve trying to pull it out. I got a new valve and replacement water line, and it went in easily, just like the video said.
Morals of the story:
1. Know how to remove the old plastic water line. I could have saved myself the price of a new valve if I'd remembered how the connector worked. Unless you have a really...

This defrost heater kit warms the evaporator during the automatic defrost cycle to melt frost and keep air moving. Replace it when ice builds up on the freezer coils and temperatures rise or airflow is restricted.
- Heats the evaporator coil during defrost to clear accumulated frost/ice
- Helps maintain proper airflow and stable temperatures in both compartments
- Symptoms can include heavy frost on the back wall/evaporator cover, reduced cooling, or fan noise from ice contact
- A failed heater can leave the defrost system unable to clear ice, restricting airflow
What's included: 1 defrost heater kit Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the refrigerator before servicing
- Access the heater behind the freezer's rear panel; safely remove heavy ice before replacement
- Move wires and clips one at a time, routing exactly like the original to avoid pinched or exposed conductors
- After replacement, monitor defrost operation; icing persists, also check the defrost thermostat and control

Breaker was tripping when going into defrost mode Paul G. • New Fairfield , CT • December 08, 2014
Inspected the Defrost timer and it seamed to be functioning properly. Ohm ed out the defrost heater element and it also measured out correctly (mine 34 ohms). Bypassed the heater element and found that the unit would run without tripping breaker during defrost cycle. At this point i inspected the wiring to the heater and checked continuity of the wire and continuity to ground, No issues found. So with the heater out of the circuit and not having an issue i ordered heater element from...

This PTCR is the compressor's start device for select refrigerators. It helps the compressor start smoothly by momentarily boosting the start winding, then automatically reduces current as the motor reaches speed.
- Provides initial start assist to the compressor, then self-resets
- A failing PTCR can cause clicking, repeated start attempts, warm temperatures, or the compressor not running
- Helps protect the compressor by limiting inrush current during startup
What's included: One PTCR start device only Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; allow components to cool
- Note wire positions and orientation before removal
- Inspect compressor terminals for heat damage and ensure firm connections
- If the old device shows signs of overheating, also check the overload and wiring

Refrigerator not getting cold at all and everything thawing out compressor clicking Victor F. • West Milford , NJ • June 15, 2015
I researched the problem and determined that the only thing that can cause this was compressor bad or not starting. Since it was cold the day before I felt it had to be the starter parts and ordered them. It was also very important to clean the coil which I believe caused the over heating.

This evaporator fan blade mounts on the freezer fan motor and circulates air across the evaporator coils. Replacing a cracked or warped blade restores proper airflow for even cooling and more consistent temperatures throughout the refrigerator.
- Moves chilled air from the evaporator through the ducts to both compartments
- Helps maintain uniform temperatures and overall cooling performance
- Common symptoms of a faulty blade: weak airflow, poor cooling or warm spots, rattling/scraping noises from the freezer, longer run times
- Visual signs include a cracked hub, loose fit on the shaft, or broken/missing vanes
What's included: 1 evaporator fan blade Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing
- Remove freezer shelves/ice bin and the rear panel to access the fan assembly
- Pull the old blade straight off the motor shaft; align the hub and press the new blade on until fully seated
- Verify blade orientation and free rotation inside the shroud before reassembly

This clamp secures small hoses or tubing and nearby wiring inside the appliance to keep lines held in place and reduce rubbing, leaks, or vibration noise. It's a direct-fit replacement designed to restore proper hose routing and stability. What it does:
- Holds water, drain or vent tubing securely to prevent sagging and rubbing that can cause leaks or wear
- Keeps hoses and wires aligned to reduce vibration and rattling during operation
- Helps maintain proper connections at fittings so seals stay seated and drip risk is minimized
- Simple mechanical clip action — no special tools or adhesives required
Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before starting any repair
- Remove the old clamp and install this clamp in the same orientation; tubing sits fully in the fitting
- Use standard pliers (or the OEM-recommended tool) to compress/seat the clamp; avoid twisting or pinching the tubing
- Inspect surrounding tubing and fittings for wear; replace damaged hoses or seals if found

This wire clip secures a wiring harness to the appliance cabinet to prevent rubbing, pinching, or loose connections. Replacing a worn or broken clip helps restore proper wire routing and reduces the risk of electrical contact issues. What it does:
- Holds wiring harnesses in place to prevent chafing and stress on connections
- Keeps wires routed away from sharp edges, moving parts, and heat sources
- Helps stop intermittent electrical problems caused by loose or strained wires
- Reduces risk of arcing or shorting from wires rubbing on metal components
What's included:
Install notes:
- Always disconnect power (unplug or switch off circuit breaker) before servicing electrical components
- Remove any panels or obstructions to access the damaged clip, then release the harness and snap the replacement clip into the original mounting location
- Verify wires are seated properly in the clip and routed clear of moving or hot parts before restoring power
- If wiring or connectors are damaged, replace or repair those components rather than relying on the clip alone
