The very easy diagnosis was motor seizure. Because the machine is about a decade old, I decided to renovate most of the guts. Using a utube video that showed the step by step process I was successful (57 year old widow). The only part I struggled with was the screw threading of the plate and being able to hold and reach the screws at the same time. Other than that it just took me time. Bought frigidaire crown dryer (2001) to fix this is unplug dryer (240v) mover out on the head unscrew the timer plate on the left side of timer you will fined the moisture controler unplug the conductor cord (white) and plug in new controler remove old and replace with new put plate back on timer head .
