I uninstalled the broken icemaker, swapped the wiring and ice bar from the old icemaker to the new one, and installed the new icemaker all in 12 minutes and 37 seconds from start to finish, which includes pulling out the two freezer baskets and pulling off the freezer door. Replaced water reservoir, filter assembly, and water line via the provided instructional videos. The only problems I had where that the water line video had a different fridge layout (filter assembly was perfect), and the inevitable leak on one of the sharkbite-style connectors. Checked out the video on your site on how to disassemble the ice maker. Was really easy when you know the correct sequence. Only 3 screws and it's out of the freezer. Disassembled the ice maker on my kitchen counter and replaced the ice stripper. Reassembled and installed back in my freezer. It is as good as new Read more

Replaced complete ice-maker. Unplugged fridge, removed freezer shelves (its a bottom freezer), loosened 4 self tapping screws to remove door. Removed bottom self tapping screw, loosened 2 top self tapping screws, disconnected wiring harness, removed ice-maker. Reused and attached wiring harness, front cover, wire stop for ice, cone shaped adapter for water to enter and one c-clip for wire harness.
