This upper rack adjuster sets and secures the dishwasher's top rack height so dishes clear the spray arms and load properly. When the adjuster wears or breaks, the rack can become uneven or stuck, leading to poor cleaning and loading issues.
- Provides the mechanism to raise/lower and lock the upper dishrack height
- Keeps the top rack level and secured to the rail during operation
- Common symptoms of failure: rack drops on one side, won't adjust, feels loose, or comes off the track
- Contribute to poor wash results when the rack can't be positioned correctly
What's included: 1 upper rack adjuster assembly Install notes:
- Disconnect power and water supply before servicing
- Remove upper rack end caps/stops and slide the rack out to access the adjuster
- Release or unfasten the old adjuster, transfer any reusable clips/wheels if applicable, and install the new adjuster
- Set both sides of the rack to the same height; reinstall rack and confirm smooth travel and secure locking

This adjustable manifold connects the upper rack to the dishwasher's rear water feed. It channels wash water to the upper spray arm and maintains a sealed connection as the rack height changes for consistent cleaning performance. What it does:
- Routes water from the rear feed tube to the upper/middle spray arm
- Self-adjusts with rack position to keep a secure, leak-resistant connection
- Replace if cracked, deformed, or the coupling no longer seals
- Common symptoms include poor cleaning on the upper rack, weak spray, upper spray arm not turning, or a small leak at the back of the tub
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off water; wear gloves for protection
- Remove the upper rack by releasing the rail end caps and sliding the rack out
- Unclip the manifold from the rack and disengage it from the rear feed port; seat the new manifold fully
- Reinstall the rack and ensure the spray arm spins freely

This trash compactor is in our vacation home. We never use it and now we are selling the house. When I looked to replace it I was amazed at how expensive a new compactor would cost. I found the serial number on the current compact entered it and your web site came up. Your schematics were excellent and made the repair very easy!

This active vent assembly controls airflow from the dishwasher during and after a cycle, releasing humid air at the right time for better drying. Replacing a faulty vent can reduce lingering moisture and steam escaping from the door.
- Regulates and directs moist air out of the tub during the dry portion of the cycle
- Closes during wash to help contain water and heat inside the dishwasher
- Helps reduce interior condensation and improve overall drying results
- Common failure symptoms: dishes not drying, moisture remaining after the cycle, steam escaping at the top of the door, or unusual noise from the vent area
What's included: 1 active vent assembly Install notes:
- Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing; allow the unit to cool
- Access is typically through the inner door panel; retain and reuse mounting hardware as required
- Inspect and correctly seat the vent seal to prevent steam leaks
- After installation, run a test cycle to check for proper vent operation and sealing

Water inlet valve was broken and water was leaking all over the floor basin would slowly fill and overflow on to floor Tanya F. • Washington , DC • May 23, 2015
My nine year old said the following to me while I was looking for a tool to complete the task. "mom do you remember a couple of months ago when you and daddy were trying to fix something? You went to the store and bought tools and you ended up calling repairman to fix it? That's their job, mom. Repairmen fix stuff. You are not a repairman"
I fixed this my self in just over a hour.
Take that!

This run capacitor helps start and keep the motor running smoothly by providing the necessary phase shift and torque boost. A weak capacitor can cause hard starting, humming, or intermittent motor operation.
- Supplies continuous phase shift to maintain motor rotation
- Helps the motor start reliably under load
- Symptoms can include humming, slow or no start, or overheating shutdown
- Restores normal operation when the original capacitor has weakened
What's included: One 23.5 µF run capacitor Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; discharge the old capacitor safely
- Note wire locations and transfer leads to the new capacitor one-by-one
- Mount securely in the original bracket or location to prevent vibration
- If the motor still won't start, further diagnosis of the motor or start device may be required

Dishwasher would start begin to fill with water then there would be 4 5 short "hums" or "buzzes" it would then shut off and drain what water had filled John S. • Granite Falls , MN • September 19, 2017
Figured it was either the capacitor and/or motor. Ordered both parts to be sure. tried changing the capacitor first; same problem. Replaced the motor (leaving the new capacitor in place). Unit now works fine. Overall an easy fix once you get the washer out and tip it on its side or top to get access to the motor area.
