Leaks from around the door and from the pump motor Samuel M. • Sudbury , MA • January 12, 2016
1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive. The plastic edge pieces for the lower seal were supplied with the kit, and they installed...

Wife reported dishwasher not working and left bag of parts for me to examine that she found inside the washer Ahlberg A. • Colorado Springs , CO • November 28, 2016
Although we had a service contract with Sears I elected to take a quick look to see what was wrong. There were 3 problems: 1 - retainer thumb screw had broken and appeared to have been damaged for some time showing scummy buildup along the line where the threads finally separated from the knob, 2 - after removing the lower spray arm, observed that the pump seal was visibly distended and exposed, and 3 - the 3rd level wash arm spinner disk was in the parts bag and the stainless steel sweat-fit...

This door catch and strike work together to keep the door securely closed and engage the safety interlock switch. Replacing worn pieces restores a firm latch and reliable operation when the door is properly shut.
- Aligns and engages the latch so the door stays closed during operation
- Activates the door switch so cycles can start
- Helps prevent the door from popping open mid-cycle
- Common symptoms: door won't latch without force, unit won't start, visible wear or a bent strike
What's included: One door catch and one door strike. Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing
- Open the door and remove mounting fasteners to swap the catch and strike
- Adjust strike alignment/depth so the latch engages fully and the door sits flush
- Restore power and test for smooth closing and proper cycle start

- Restores proper sealing after disassembly for service or part replacement
What's included: One O-ring seal Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before servicing
- Remove surrounding components carefully to avoid damaging the seal seat
- Inspect the mating surfaces for debris or damage; clean before installing new O-ring

Dishwasher door panel was rusting Prashant K. • Fishers , IN • October 11, 2014
I had no hope of separating the panel from the frame without damaging the frame since the two parts were rusted pretty badly and the screws holding the panel to the frame were completely beyond salvage. So I had to replace both the panel and the frame. I ended up removing the electrical/electronic connections, removing the panel/frame from the hinge and then replacing it with the new parts. Took about 90 minutes but the hardest part was removing other items from the rusting frame without...

The Thermostat Clip is an OEM part for Whirlpool dishwashers. It plays an important supporting role by securely fastening the thermostat sensor inside the wash chamber.
Symptoms of a faulty Thermostat Clip can include:
- Fluctuating or inconsistent water temperatures between cycles
- Inability to properly detect temperature for desired heat levels
- Longer cycle times needed for reaching required temperatures
- Strange sounds or condensation around thermostat connection
Causes could arise from typical wear and tear stresses weakening plastic retaining clips. Exposure to harsh detergents may also erode clip material integrity over time.
This OEM replacement part is compatible with KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Kenmore, and select Hotpoint and Roper dishwasher models as well.
