It was easy to replace the old clock/timer control board with the new one. I followed these steps: 1. Remove the four control knobs. 2. Remove the four large plastic nuts under the control knobs. This holds down the entire faceplate. 3. Remove the four screws which secure the clock/timer control board and display. 4. After replacing the burner twice and verifying the fuel holes and orifice was not blocked, we fixed the problem by replacing the wiring harness P/N: AP3965774. That and making sure the burner was tightly screwed into the range base to ensure the correct spark gap. Read more

Ordered a new clock/timer control. This was very easy to install the real trick was removing about 8 wires and 4 plug in connectors from the board and then reinstalling them back in the same location as the were before. I took a photo of the board with my IPhone before taking all the wires off, this made it very easy to reinstall the wires on the same terminals as before. This was an easy fix: Requires a screwdriver and 10 minutes. The old handle broke where the screw tightens into the plastic of the handle. It was literally falling off thus easy off; then put new handle in place and tighten the existing screws. The new handle did NOT come with new screws. Read more
