Unplugged old control panel and plugged in replacement. 5 different colored wires slid easily onto metal prongs. Long plastic piece with thin prongs had to be pried up with screwdriver. You will also need plastic face plate. I was able to peel old one and reuse it. Used razor blade to cut adhesive. Oven clicked back on as soon as it was plugged back in. The bearing on the dryer drum wore out so bad the ball fell off Thomas J. • Green Bay , WI • October 31, 2016
I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new.
