Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Changing oven from lp to natural gas   Kim G. • Prescott Valley , AZ • March 06, 2016

We bought a stove off Craigslist and didn't realize it was LP Gas until we got it home and my husband was hooking it up and the burners wouldn't light all the way around. My husband has been out of the gas company for over 10 years now and was a little rusty on what was happening. I jumped online and when I read that the possibility was because LP Gas, my husband said..."thats it." So we jumped online... on a Sunday and actually got a real person to chat with at AppliancePartsPros who told... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Gas regulator valve was bad   Barry B. • North Charleston , SC • August 08, 2015

My gas & Carbon Monoxide alarm went off at 6:30 am a couple of Saturday's ago. Had to call fire dept. and gas company. Gas company found a leak in the area of my gas cooktop. They turned off gas and locked the meter. Found the leak & fixed, but while running pressure test on the line, found a leak at the shutoff valve on water heater. Fixed that, called gas company. They checked out everything & turned gas back on. They turned all pilots back on but couldn't get cooktop to light. Said I put too... Read more
