First i called sears parts direct to order this part, because that is where i purchased my electric range. they had an outrageous price of $98. unbelievable to think that such a small piece of rubber could cost that much. i also called a few other parts dealers on other websites. they also had high prices. when i called appliance parts pros they cut the cost by 50%. i am not sure if i could have found a better price because i stopped there. it is exhausting and time consuming to have to compare... The repair was a success. The switch and came looked different from the original. I called Appliance Parts Pro, they lady on the phone said that Frigidaire changed the switch and how to wire it up correctly. Problem solved. It all works as it should. Read more

Needed to replace burner box panel (pan under electric coil burners) and replace stove top (black panel that surrounds the burners). BB was corroded, had a couple big holes from liquid boil-overs (salted water) from the last 10 years. The stove top looked nasty. It was chipped & scratched badly. Removed electric coil burners and drip pans from stove top. Removed 1 small Phillips screw in each burner opening to detach electrical burner sockets from stove top. Just screwed on the new handle. The new handle did not come with threaded holes, but this was OK because the screws that came with the stove were self tapping. This takes a bit more effort and the proper screwdriver, but creates the threads in the handle as you turn the screw. Kudos to A-P Pros for the quick processing and delivery of the order. Read more

Removed & replaced igniter switch assembly. The hardest part was figuring out how to remove the range top...look up a YouTube video with your manufacturer and model number to see how to do it. Read more

Went on site, read the reviews to see how difficult it would be or if any problems. Then ordered it And received it the next day!!! The 2 screws were a bit hard to remove. Found the right screwdriver by using the 2 new screws I ordered. Once I got them out, lifted the old panel out. Pushed down on one corner so could get a grip on opposite corner to lift out. Once out, put in new one. Put in new screws and good to go! Will certainly NOT line with foil ever again!!! Read more

This Frigidaire model requires power to be disconnected before servicing. Power is going to the elements at all times and the control switches close to the ground side. removed the back panel to have access to the wiring of the element. Disconnect the two wires to the broil element and then opened the oven door and removed the screws holding the element in place. Installed new element and support rods and hooked wiring back to the element. Installed back on the stove and done. My wife was happy... Read more
