Unplugged old control panel and plugged in replacement. 5 different colored wires slid easily onto metal prongs. Long plastic piece with thin prongs had to be pried up with screwdriver. You will also need plastic face plate. I was able to peel old one and reuse it. Used razor blade to cut adhesive. Oven clicked back on as soon as it was plugged back in. Purchased the small bottle of the bisque touch up paint and carefully applied it to the chipped area. The size of the chip was about 1/2" X 1 1/4" so it was very noticeable to say the least. The touch up paint has a viscosity that makes it smooth and leaves no brush marks. The color is a dead ringer for the original color of my 14 year old GE stove. I highly recommend this product.
