This Frigidaire model requires power to be disconnected before servicing. Power is going to the elements at all times and the control switches close to the ground side. removed the back panel to have access to the wiring of the element. Disconnect the two wires to the broil element and then opened the oven door and removed the screws holding the element in place. Unplugged old control panel and plugged in replacement. 5 different colored wires slid easily onto metal prongs. Long plastic piece with thin prongs had to be pried up with screwdriver. You will also need plastic face plate. I was able to peel old one and reuse it. Used razor blade to cut adhesive. Oven clicked back on as soon as it was plugged back in. Purchased the small bottle of the bisque touch up paint and carefully applied it to the chipped area. The size of the chip was about 1/2" X 1 1/4" so it was very noticeable to say the least. The touch up paint has a viscosity that makes it smooth and leaves no brush marks. The color is a dead ringer for the original color of my 14 year old GE stove. I highly recommend this product.
