The front left element (8 inch) would stay hot on lower control settings. Michael S. • West Seneca , NY • September 13, 2022
After an internet search, the likely problem was a faulty "Element Switch.." I actually unplugged the stove and removed the switch (I did NOT disconnect the wires). I obtained the part number on the switch, disassembled it, observed that the contacts were highly degraded, reassembled the switch and reinstalled it back into the stove. This all provided confidence the SWITCH was faulty.
One switch on the AppliancePartsPros.com website (AP2591804) looked exactly like the switch in the stove...

The Large Chrome Drip Pan is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire cooktops, designed to fit beneath the burner elements. It is responsible for providing a clean surface and maintain cleanliness. When the drip pan becomes damaged or worn out, it may no longer effectively catch spills or reflect heat, affecting both cleanliness and cooking performance.
Symptoms of a bad part include:
- Visible signs of damage, wear, rust, or corrosion on the drip pan
- Uneven stove element
- Difficulty cleaning spills and grease accumulating on the pan
- Unsightly appearance of the stove
- Difficulty cleaning the stove surface
This OEM Frigidaire part can also be used on Electrolux, Frigidaire, Gibson, Kelvinator, Westinghouse, and Sears/Kenmore.

The drip pans on my electric range were old and would not clean up i bought replacements at walmart but their universal did not fit properly r Charles C. • Fair Play , MO • September 21, 2014
I googled "drip pans for electric range" and came upon your web site as well as some others. After looking at three or four I decided to go with your company. The choices clearly described the pans available so I didn't have to guess which one would fit. The price was very good and they arrive in the mail two days after I ordered them. The drip pans fit perfectly. Thank you.

The Broil Element is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire ovens. It is located at the top of the oven cavity and is responsible for providing the high heat required for broiling. This element heats up quickly and evenly to cook food from above, giving it a crisp and browned finish.
