This surface element control replaces the damaged or worn control that regulates heat to an electric cooktop burner. Restores reliable power and heat adjustment for a single surface element on compatible ranges. What it does
- Acts as the infinite switch that controls the burner's heat level based on the knob setting.
- Replaces a control that causes a burner to stay off, fail to heat, or not respond to knob changes.
- Helps eliminate intermittent heating, erratic temperature changes, or a burner that won't cycle properly.
- Works with the corresponding burner element and knob to provide stepped heat control.
What's included One surface element control kit as shown. Install notes
- Disconnect power to the range at the breaker before starting any repairs.
- Basic hand tools required; remove the cooktop or rear console per your model's service instructions.
- Handle terminals and wiring carefully; match wire locations exactly during reassembly.

I needed to change out the stovetop gas orifices going natural gas to propane James G. • Fort Lauderdale , FL • September 12, 2015
Changing out the stovetop orifices from natural gas to propane-
First thing, turn off the gas.
On this model stove, there are five burners-two burners in the front, two in the back and one in the middle. The front two burners are different than the other three, they are the largest burners. You can use a 11/32 socket with an extension to go down the middle hole of the burner and screw-out the natural gas orifices.
Taking the orifices out was easy. Putting the new orifices in is a different...

The Lens is an OEM component for Frigidaire freezers. It acts as a transparent cover and protective barrier for the freezer compartment lights. Crafted for durability and clarity, the lens avoids frost and minimizes condensation while allowing visibility inside the freezer.
Causes of a bad lens can include deep scratches or cracks developing over time from repeated wiping or exposure to chemicals like frost removers.
Symptoms of a bad freezer lens include:
- Cloudiness, fogginess, or smears inhibiting internal visibility
- Cracks or breaks compromising the protective barrier
- Distorted views make it difficult to assess food levels
- Diffused lighting with shadows instead of a clear view
This OEM Frigidaire part can also be used on Electrolux, Frigidaire, Gibson, Kelvinator, Westinghouse, and Sears/Kenmore.

Broken lens cover for oven light Joy K. • Connelly Spg , NC • July 18, 2014
I purchased the lens cover from your on-line store. It came within the week. I was able to change the lens cover without any problems. My husband takes care of things like this for me at home, but this cover was for my mother's oven. I broke the one she had when I was cleaning her oven and changing the bulb.

Oven door hinges broke. Tim B. • Antigo , WI • April 15, 2018
Ordered these replacements. Found it odd that one side was more than the orher, but this was the same on every site I searched. This site was the best price after shipping. They both came in three days, as scheduled, but in individual packages and two different brands? They did both fit, and were easy to install. Only issue that I had was that the screw holes that hold the hinges to the oven were not threaded to receive the small machine screws. Luckily I had a 10-32 tap to solve this problem....

Part Number: 316211603
This convection fan element mounts on the oven's rear wall around the blower. It supplies supplemental electric heat so the fan can circulate hot air evenly during convection modes for more consistent baking and roasting.
- Provides heat directly around the convection fan to help maintain even temperature during convection cycles
- Failure can cause poor browning, uneven results on multiple racks, or convection modes that run without proper heating
- May show visible breaks, blistering, or burnt spots; an open element will fail a continuity check
- If standard bake heats normally but convection bake does not, this element may be at fault
What's included: 1 convection fan heating element Install notes:
- Disconnect power at the breaker and allow the oven to cool completely before servicing
- Remove oven racks and the rear interior panel to access the element surrounding the fan
- Note wire positions; transfer any spacers or mounting hardware from the original element as needed
- Secure the element without bending it and confirm the fan spins freely with proper clearance
