After checked the cooling coil on the back of freezer showing ice built up around the coil, I thought defrost heater did not working that cause a lot of ice blocking cold air traveling. While waiting the new defrost heater, I plugged in refrigerator through a timer that off and on every 6 hours. If not, refrigerator will turn off itself every 7-8 hours and make refrigerator not cooling several hours during the time I am not home and sleeping. Ordered a new panel and installed it in less than five minutes. Easy fix, just a really poor appliance, always something failing be it door hinge, ice maker, shelf cracking, and now the plastic panel at the bottom. I did an Internet search and found your site. You're customer service representative was friendly and courteous, asked me what I needed. I gave her the refrigerator model number which is all I had. She spent the time needed to find the right bulb. LG doesn't provide great documentation but she cross referenced and double checked she had the right one. She encouraged me to buy two so I had a spare (a great idea). I got my bulb two days and fit perfectly. It was a great experience!! Read more
