This upper hinge assembly secures and guides the refrigerator door, restoring proper door alignment and smooth opening/closing. It replaces a worn or damaged hinge to help stop sagging, rubbing, or noisy movement. What it does:
- Provides the pivot point that lets the refrigerator door swing open and closed.
- Restores correct door alignment to reduce gaps and improve sealing.
- Stops symptoms like a sagging or misaligned door, scraping sounds, or loose movement.
- Works with existing screws and trim when installed correctly.
What's included: One upper hinge assembly. Install notes:
- Unplug the appliance or disconnect power before starting any repair.
- Support the door while removing and installing the hinge to prevent it from dropping.
- Use the manufacturer's service manual or diagrams for fastener locations and torque; do not force parts.

The issue is that the wire is short and you need to turn the unit in order to get a screwdriver in. It would help to have a short screwdriver, but I was, finally, able to remove it with the full length...
