I drained the unit. Removed the front cover which is only held on by a couple of screws and the retainer ring that holds the rubber boot the seal for the door. But pretty straight forward after that. Just switch out the the the part its location is on the bottom lert. The case assembly is located under the top cover...the top cover os held down by 2 screws once out the cover slides of the part is on the left side just remove wires plugs and change out you only have to remove the screws holding...

The detergent drawer became permanently stuck 10 years ago. The cause, a lid on the fabric softener caught on the roof of the drawer cabinet. A small moisture leak eventually began. The moisture ran down the inside of the front cabinet panel and down to the filter trap at the bottom of the front cabinet panel.
