Light Bulb
Genuine Lg part
By: Lg
Part Number: 6912JB2004M

The Light Bulb is an OEM part for LG refrigerators. It can be used in either the fresh food section or freezer compartment, providing illumination for easy visibility of the stored items.

Causes of a faulty light bulb can include regular wear and tear, reaching the end of its lifespan, or accidental breakage. These factors can result in issues such as a dark or poorly lit interior, making it difficult to see the contents of the refrigerator.

Symptoms of a bad light bulb may include:

  • No illumination or dim lighting inside the refrigerator
  • A flickering or intermittent light
  • Visible damage or broken filament inside the bulb

This LG OEM bulb is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore models.

The problem still persisted so I went ahead and replaced the control board. That did the trick. So for my unit, LG LFX25960ST replacing all those components were required. All repairs were easy and the videos and posts are all helpful. Read more

Motor (Drive)
Genuine Lg part
By: Lg
Part Number: 4681JJ1001E

This drive motor powers the appliance's rotating drum or tub, restoring proper rotation so loads tumble or agitate as intended. Replaces a worn or failed motor to stop humming, no-rotation, or intermittent spinning problems. What it does

  • Spins the drum/tub so laundry or items tumble and clean/dry evenly.
  • Accepts the drive belt (where applicable) and transmits torque to rotate the load.
  • Stops operation when internal thermal or electrical faults occur, which can cause humming or no-spin symptoms.
  • Commonly replaced when the unit fails to start, stalls under load, or makes unusual noises.
What's included
  • One drive motor (single motor assembly)
Install notes
  • Disconnect power before beginning any repair to avoid shock or injury.
  • Access typically requires removing the cabinet or rear panel and supporting the drum/tub while unbolting the motor.
  • Note belt routing and electrical connector positions during removal to ensure correct reassembly.

  • Ice maker won't dispense ice
