Blower housing assembly for dryer that channels heated air from the drum to the exhaust. Replaces a cracked or damaged housing to restore proper airflow and help the dryer dry more efficiently and quietly. What it does:
This is a small O-ring gasket that creates an airtight seal at the gas supply pipe connection on a gas dryer. It prevents gas from leaking at the fitting where the supply line connects to the dryer's gas valve. Replace this seal if you detect a gas smell near the connection point or if the fitting fails a leak test.
Replaced all parts associated with the dryer and sensors. Read more
This guide assembly is a replacement slide guide that helps support and align moving components for smooth operation and reliable engagement. It restores proper tracking and reduces wobble or binding in the mechanism. What it does:
This clamp secures hoses, tubing or wiring to the appliance frame to help prevent rubbing, vibration and routing issues. It restores a solid attachment point so lines stay in place during normal use. What it does:
Replaced the motor. Read more
This is the gas tube assembly that connects the gas valve to the burner assembly inside the dryer. It channels gas from the manifold to the burner where it is ignited to produce heat for drying. Replace this tube if you detect a gas smell near the dryer, notice visible damage or corrosion on the tube, or if the dryer fails to heat properly.
This Pipe Assembly routes water into the appliance so the dispenser and ice maker can receive a steady supply. Replacing a damaged tube restores proper water flow and helps stop leaks or pooling inside or beneath the unit. What it does:
Base bracket for dryers. Mounts to the bottom of the cabinet to secure the base assembly. Replace if bracket is cracked, bent, or missing hardware.
Pipe connector for dryers and laundry centers. Replaces broken, cracked, or missing mechanical pipe connectors. Essential for secure pipe assembly.
Fix dryer components not powering on or communicating. This multi-wire harness restores electrical connections between control and components.
Plastic cap that covers unused holes in your dryer's control panel or cabinet. Replace if the original cap is cracked, broken, missing, or no longer fits securely.
This replacement refrigerator door handle restores a secure, easy-to-grip surface for opening and closing the fridge. It replaces a cracked, loose, or missing handle so the door operates safely and comfortably. What it does:
Dryer holder clip secures components in place during operation. Replace if broken, loose, or missing to prevent rattling and ensure proper part alignment.
The Belt is an OEM replacement part for LG dryers that is responsible for connecting the motor to the drum to allow it to tumble. Over time, dryer belts can stretch, wear out, or even break, leading to a drum that won't turn and clothes that don't dry properly.
Symptoms of a bad Dryer Belt include:
Causes of failure can include regular wear and tear from the dryer's operation, overloading the dryer beyond its capacity, which puts extra strain on the belt, or a misalignment that causes uneven wear. A damaged belt can prevent your dryer from functioning correctly, leading to inefficiency in drying clothes and potential motor damage due to unnecessary strain.
This OEM LG part can also be used on Kenmore/Sears appliances.
I disassembled/reassembled the dryer according to the ApplianceParts Youtube video. With my limited electrical knowledge (just enough to be dangerous) I initially figured it was a problem with the heating unit, sensor(s), or the control board. After diagnosing the problem (bad thermistor), I had to order the parts and was able to repair and reassemble the dryer several days later. After removing the drum, I cleaned all the dust etc. out of the inside (it gets dirty in there!) and inspected,... Read more
Usually ships within 4 - 14 days
The Dryer Thermistor is an OEM part for LG dryers, designed to monitor and help regulate the temperature within the dryer by providing feedback to the control board about the temperature inside the drum. This allows the dryer to adjust its heat settings accordingly, preventing overheating and ensuring clothes are dried evenly and safely.
Symptoms of a bad Dryer Thermistor include:
Causes of a bad Dryer Thermistor can include a buildup of lint and debris affecting its ability to accurately sense temperature, wear and tear over time, or electrical issues within the dryer's circuitry.
